1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MenuMade.

If you are under the age of 18, you may only use the App with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Description of the Service

MenuMade is a subscription-based progressive web application that uses artificial intelligence to generate healthier, home-cooked versions of restaurant-inspired meals based on the information you provide, including your fitness goals and preferences.

MenuMade is intended for informational and educational purposes only.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information.
• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your password.
• Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

Certain features of MenuMade require a paid subscription.

Payments are securely processed by Stripe.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method according to the subscription plan you choose.

Subscription pricing, billing frequency, and available plans will be displayed before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew until canceled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period unless otherwise required by law.

5. Refunds

Except where required by applicable law, subscription payments are non-refundable.

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at support.menumade@gmail.com, and we will review your request.

6. AI-Generated Content

MenuMade uses artificial intelligence to generate recipes and meal suggestions.

While we strive to provide helpful and accurate results, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated recipes are suggestions only.
• Results may vary.
• You are responsible for verifying ingredients, cooking instructions, food safety, allergens, and nutritional suitability before preparing or consuming any recipe.

7. No Medical or Nutritional Advice

MenuMade does not provide medical, nutritional, dietary, or professional health advice.

Information provided through the App should not replace advice from a physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified healthcare professional.

Always consult an appropriate professional before making significant dietary or health-related decisions.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the App.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the App except as permitted by law.
• Use automated tools to scrape or excessively access the service.
• Upload malicious code or harmful content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

9. Intellectual Property

MenuMade, including its name, branding, logos, software, design, graphics, and original content, is owned by MenuMade and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

10. User Content

You retain ownership of the information you submit to MenuMade.

By submitting information through the App, you grant MenuMade a limited license to use that information solely for operating, maintaining, improving, and providing the services you request.

11. Third-Party Services

MenuMade relies on third-party providers, including:

• Supabase
• Stripe
• OpenAI
• Vercel (if applicable)

Your use of those services may also be subject to their respective terms and policies.

12. Availability

We strive to keep MenuMade available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms.
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.
• Use the App in a manner that harms other users or MenuMade.

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

MenuMade is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that AI-generated content will always be accurate or suitable for your needs.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MenuMade and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to MenuMade during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MenuMade and its owner from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any law or the rights of another person.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any legal action arising under these Terms shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date and may notify users through the App or by email.

Your continued use of MenuMade after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
